Wednesdaystamper: Charms

Bij wednesdaystampers is de uitdaging van deze week; Charms. Dat is inderdaad een uitdaging! Ik heb net deze twee hangers gemaakt. Ik heb Tilez gebruikt van Tim Holtz. Bij de kleine heb ik een plaatje gebruikt van Paper Whimsy, en daar wat stempes etc. op gedaan. Bij de grote heb ik ook gebruik gemaakt van stempels, de letters zijn rub-ons.

This week's challenge at wednesdaystampers is; Charms. That really is a challenge! I just made these two charms. I uses Tilez by Tim Holtz. For the small charm I used a Paper Whimsy picture and some stamps etc. For the bigger one I also used stamps, The letters are Rub-Ons.

Hoi! Na alle decemberdrukte hoop ik nu weer wat meer tijd te maken voor de challenges. Het theme op wednesdaystamper voor deze week is 'Gothic Arch'. Dit is mijn bijdrage:

Hi! After the busy decembermonth I know hope to have more time to participate in all the challenges. This week's theme on wednessdaystamper is 'Gothic Arch". Here's mine:
Ik heb voor de achtergrond de distresskleuren Tea Dye, Vintage Photo en Walnut stain gebruikt. Daarna een dunne laag gesso aangebracht. De tekst is een stempel van Stamper's Anonymous, het plaatje is van PaperWhimsy. de tekststempel op de achtergrond is van Limited Edition. De damask bovenin is van Hero Arts.

For the background I used the Distress Inks Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. After that I aplied a thin layer of gesso. De text is by Stampers Anonymous, The girl is by Paper Whimsy. The text on the background is a stamp by Limited Edition. The damask at the top is by Hero Arts.

Wednesdaystamper: Open Theme

Op wednesdaystamper is er deze week een open thema. Ik ben net begonnen in een Art Journal, en hier is mijn eerste pagina. De tekst komt uit het nummer 'no rain' van Blind Melon. Ik vind dat altijd een hele mooie tekstregel en wilde er altijd al iets mee doen.

De inkt die ik gebruikt heb is van Aditondack Stream & Butterscotch en India Black Ink. De verschillende stempels zijn van Ink And The Dog, Paperbag en Cherry Pie. In het echt zijn de kleuren van de kaart wat 'sterker'.

Got up Early this morning and sat at my stampingtable. I made this card for wednessdaystampers theme this week: Frames. I''ve used Adirondack Stream & Butterscotch, and India Black Ink. The stamps I used are from Ink and the Dog, Paperbag and Cherry Pie. In real the colors of the card are a bit more 'vibrant'.
